The National Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) is calling for entries to its annual art activity, showcasing what children and young people think about their relationships with family, friends and community.

For children and young people who are interested, artworks can also be submitted for display in the foyer of the Department for Child Protection’s Adelaide headquarters at 31 Flinders Street from 3-9 September 2023.

Artworks will be used in NAPCAN's National Child Protection Week campaign leading up to September, to create community awareness that protecting children is about all of us working together.

Entering the art activity is easy:

  • Create your artwork on paper A3 size or larger
  • Take a photo of the  artwork to be displayed
  • Submit your entry on the NAPCAN website.

When you save your file, use your name and the date (e.g. JohnSmith020322). This will help NAPCAN to keep track of entries.

If you'd like your artwork to be displayed in the foyer at 31 Flinders Street, please email it to: dcpcommunications@sa.gov.au
