Promoting the rights of South Australians living with disability, and ensuring all people enjoy the same access and inclusion experience within our community is of the utmost importance for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Department for Child Protection (DCP) Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2024 (DAIP) (PDF, 2.1 MB) outlines the steps we will take over the next four years to improve outcomes for children and young people, carers and our workforce with disability, as well as to improve accessibility of the services we both fund and deliver.

The DCP DAIP has been developed in consultation with key stakeholders, staff and the general public.

The DCP DAIP is structured around the themes and priority areas set out within Inclusive SA: State Disability Inclusion Plan 2019–2023. In line with the Inclusive SA commitment to remain a living document, the DCP DAIP will remain live to ensure continued alignment and to reflect social, political and environmental changes

Delivering on the commitments made within this plan will ensure all aspects of the work that we do are considered through the lens of people who live with disability and that access and inclusion is at the forefront of our decision making.

You can also download an accessible version of the DAIP (PDF, 1.1 MB) designed for use with screen readers.
