The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of children and young people, carers, volunteers, staff and organisations from across the child protection sector.

They are a focal point of National Child Protection Week, and will be held on Friday 8 September in the William Magarey Room at Adelaide Oval.

There are 12 categories including Outstanding Achievement of a Child or Young Person, Foster Carer of the Year, Kinship Carer of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

The awards are delivered by DCP in partnership with the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN).

All nominations should be made using the online nomination form.
