The Department for Child Protection is proud to support the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day Artwork Competition being hosted by Reconciliation South Australia.

The theme for 2020 is:

We are the Elders of tomorrow, hear our voice.

There are prizes for colouring (8 years and under) and original artworks (9 to 17 years).

The competition is aimed at promoting:

• The voices of Aboriginal children and young people
• Aboriginal children and young people as future leaders
• The strength of Aboriginal culture
• The importance of connection to culture

Submissions close on Sunday 2 August 2020 at 5pm. Winners will be announced on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day - Tuesday 4 August 2020.
