South Australian children and young people aged 29 and under with a care experience are encouraged to apply for grant funding in the second and final round of the Dame Roma Mitchell grants for 2022.
More than $86,000 has been allocated towards the current grant round which will aim to support successful applicants to achieve personal goals, contribute towards their health and wellbeing and provide them with further developmental opportunities.
The grants contribute towards items and services such as essential basic furniture and white goods, computers, driving lessons, further education, wellbeing supports and more.
214 children and young people shared in more than $178,000 in grants in 2021 and we encourage eligible young people to apply.
This second round of grant applications will close at 5pm on Friday 23 September.
