The Service Provider will have in place, and maintain and practice appropriate Work Health and Safety.
The Service Provider whilst on DCP sites and undertaking business on behalf of the department must work in accordance with:
- Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA)
- Work Health and Safety Regulations 2012 (SA)
- the Australian Standards
- DCP policies, procedures and standard conditions of contract.
When entering DCP sites, contractors and external service providers must undertake mandatory induction training prior to entering our sites.
The Service Provider will keep documentation and provide training on emergency and critical incident procedures to all Service Provider Staff and Carers.
The Service Provider will have crisis intervention and support policies and procedures.
