Thank you to everyone who attended the Workforce Summit for the Child Protection Sector.

Around 100 representatives from NGO partners, Aboriginal led organisations, other public sector agencies, universities, peak and oversight bodies, carers and young people contributed to important discussions about building a sustainable workforce for the future.

The summit built on previous discussions with Heads of Industry and is an important step towards developing a sector workforce strategy to explore how we can align our efforts and address our shared challenges together.

We will continue these discussions, with ongoing follow-up conversations planned over the coming months. We look forward to sharing more information as details are finalised.
