This year Families Australia has run a series of consultation workshops across the country to talk about the future of the National Framework for Protecting Australia’s Children 2009 – 2020, with more than 400 registered participants.
This included an August workshop in Adelaide, with attendees strongly representing the South Australian sector in this important national discussion.
To update participants on the consultation process, Families Australia has published a progress report that summarises the findings and feedback to date. Consultation will continue over the next few months, with outcomes to inform a final report due to the Australian Government Department of Social Services by the end of March 2020.
