The survey collects information in a range of areas, such as carers’ motivations for taking on the role, whether they would recommend it to others, what they would like to learn more about over the coming year and detail on the support they receive.

The Department for Child Protection is always looking for feedback to inform future reforms to the child protection system and improve carers’ experience in their vital roles caring for some of the state’s most vulnerable children and young people.

The feedback gained from Connecting Foster & Kinship Carers SA’s survey will contribute towards that picture.

The anonymous survey is open until Tuesday 30 April and takes about 20 minutes to complete. It can be accessed here.
