The Statement of Commitment will be a public document that talks about how the sector will work to provide support and services to children and young people who have a care experience.

It will be a guide for children and young people on what to expect from DCP and other services, and will also be a guide for staff involved within the sector.

Your ideas and knowledge will help us make sure the Statement of Commitment is accessible, inclusive and authentic!

The first round of consultations for the Statement of Commitment is currently open.

To take part, you can fill out an activity sheet or the online survey.

1. If you’re between 11 years to 14 years, you can access the online survey here (external site).
2. If you’re 15 years or older, you can access the online survey here (external site).
3. Download the What Do You Think? activity sheet (PDF, 198.9 KB) (recommended for ages 8+). Make sure you take a photo of your completed page, or scan it, and sent it to us at DCPCYEProgram@sa.gov.au.
