DCP is proud to support this important presentation by world-renowned social work expert Eileen Munro, Emeritus Professor of Social Policy at the London School of Economics.

When: 5.30 – 7.30pm, Wednesday 23 October 2019
Where: U City Function Centre, 43 Franklin Street Adelaide
Cost: Free

Professor Munro will explore the different dimensions that influence decision-making in child protection work and how the organisation can support front line workers. Formal reasoning processes make a major contribution, but need to be seen in the contexts of the limited and fallible knowledge base and the strong emotions that permeate this work.

Presented by Flinders University College of Education, Psychology and Social Work, as part of their Social Transformation Public Lecture Series.
