The Department for Child Protection (DCP) is exploring short-term residential care options for vulnerable children and young people through the establishment of Placement and Support Packages (PaSP).

PaSP is a provider panel for the delivery of individualised, immediate short-term residential care placements for children and young people when no other appropriate option is available.

This aligns with our broader reform agenda, including a commitment to reduce the number of children and young people in commercial care and place children according to their individual needs.

Thank you to everyone who attended our PaSP pre-tender briefing on 26 September 2019. For more information on PaSP and to download the information shared at the pre-tender briefing please visit the SA Tenders and Contracts website.
