A new intensive support program will be designed specifically for Aboriginal families and run by an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation (ACCO) in Adelaide’s western suburbs, supporting families with complex needs so that their children can grow up safely with their family and connected to community and culture.

The Department of Human Services is managing the $2.2 million pilot, which will be co-designed by KWY Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Services with Aboriginal community members and other government and non-government stakeholders over the next 6 months, and then delivered over 2 years.
