Connecting Foster and Kinship Carers SA in collaboration with Bradford Institute of Advanced Education are now seeking Expressions of Interest from foster and kinship carers in South Australia to participate in a Certificate IV / Diploma of Community Services in 2021.

Congratulations to recent graduates of the Diploma of Community Services! Connecting Foster and Kinship Carers SA celebrated the second cohort of graduates of the Diploma of Community Services at the beautiful Payinthi Building, City of Prospect on 30 October 2020. An outstanding achievement for the foster and kinship carers who completed this course.

The Diploma qualifies individuals with the integrated technical and theoretical concepts to undertake advanced skilled or paraprofessional work and as a pathway for further learning. Graduates of the Diploma will have:

  • Cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse, synthesise and act on information from a range of sources cognitive, technical and communication skills to analyse, plan, design and evaluate approaches to predictable problems and/or management requirements.
  • Specialist technical and creative skills to express ideas and perspectives.
  • Communication skills to transfer knowledge and specialised skills to others and demonstrate understanding of knowledge.

In collaboration with Bradford Institute of Advanced Education (www.biae.com.au), Connecting Foster and Kinship Carers SA are now seeking Expressions of Interest from foster and kinship carers in South Australia to participate in a Certificate IV / Diploma of Community Services in 2021.

Participants are required to be at least 18 years and over, a Member of Connecting Foster and Kinship Carers SA and have at least six months experience as a foster or kinship carer (if you are not a member you can join online for free). Students would be required to attend two sessions per fortnight by Zoom.
