The grants aim to empower carers to support the child or young person in their care to participate in a cultural, recreational or social activity of their choice.

We understand that many carers were expecting to receive this payment in early August, and we apologise for any confusion this has caused. We can now clarify that activity grants of $100 are currently being processed, and carers can expect to begin receiving the payment from Thursday 10 September 2020.
