Children, young people and families during COVID-19: Lessons learned and ways forward is being hosted by Healthy Development Adelaide and includes speakers from the Department for Education, Department of Human Services, Department for Child Protection and Flinders University.
Claire Simmons, Lead practitioner, Quality and Practice, and Julie Jensen, Senior Manager, Disability and Development Services from the Department for Child Protection (DCP) will reflect on how COVID-19 has affected children and families involved with the department. Information will be shared about how essential child protection services continue to be provided during the pandemic as well as DCP’s efforts to provide additional support to children and young people in care.
